Sony Pictures Entertainment has launched the family-friendly YouTube channel, Sony Pictures' Kids Zone!  It is filled with movie-inspired activities, crafts, experiments and more to help entertain families, like yours, while social distancing!   Sony Pictures' Kids Zone is a one-stop interactive hub for families!

I previously posted fun GOOSEMBUMPS recipes here.   Tonight we did  a fun GOOSEBUMPS 2: Science with Slappy activity. We did the blowing up a balloon with vinegar and baking soda.  This was a fun / interactive activity to keep us busy on a rainy day!

How you do it:

1. Use a funnel to add 2 tablespoons of baking soda to the inside of a balloon.
2. Fill a plastic bottle with approximately 1/2 cup vinegar.
3. Attach the balloon to the mouth of the plastic bottle, then lift the balloon upright so the baking soda falls and causes the reaction.
