#Frugal #Homemade Dinosaur and Horse Valentines #Free Printable

Required items:
  • Card stock.  I actually just used colored heavy weight craft paper found in scrapbooking section of the store.  It was 8 1/2 x 11 and fit perfectly in my printer!
  • Hole punch
  • Baker's Twine (the Dollar Tree has these in a three pack for $1 in the craft area)
  • Scissors or paper cutter
  • Tiny Plastic animals to secure to cards.  I found the 20 packs (Dinosaurs and Horses) in the Dollar Spot at Target for $1.  I also spied animals, dinos, and frogs at the Dollar Store

Instructions:
  1. To make these, I printed these Valentines out on card stock (thin computer paper wont hold the weight of a toy ).
  2. I then cut out the valentines.  If you have access to a paper cutter, it goes by faster.
  3. Punch  two holes in the middle.  I lightly folded my paper in the middle to get the hole punch to fit.
  4. Tied akers twine through the card and used it to tie the animal tight to the card.

The Addams Family Available on Blu-ray and DVD out now! #MEETTHEADDAMS

Everyone’s favorite creepy and kooky family is back in the “frighteningly funny and fresh” (Rosie Knight, IGN) animated feature film, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, out now from Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios (MGM) and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

The very first full-length animated film about the eccentric and unconventional family,
THE ADDAMS FAMILY on Blu-ray™️, DVD and Digital showcase the wonderfully weird world of the Addams family with a variety of exclusive bonus features not seen in theaters including deleted and extended scenes, an interactive charades game with Thing, behind-the-scenes footage, music lyric videos and more! Filled with wildly funny moments and a fresh take on the beloved characters created by Charles Addams, THE ADDAMS FAMILY celebrates the uniqueness of every family and delivers spooky fun all year long.

From directors Conrad Vernon (Shrek 2, Madagascar 3) and Greg Tiernan (Sausage Party“Thomas & Friends”), THE ADDAMS FAMILY boasts a star-studded voice cast including Oscar Isaac (Star Wars: The Last Jedi, X-Men: Apocalypse), Charlize Theron (Long ShotKubo and the Two Strings), Chloë Grace Moretz (Kick Ass, The 5th Wave), Finn Wolfhard (It“Stranger Things”), Nick Kroll (The Secret Life of Pets 2, Sing), music icon Snoop Dogg, Bette Midler (Hocus Pocus, The First Wives Club) and Allison Janney (Minions, I, Tonya). THE ADDAMS FAMILY was recently nominated for two Annie Awards™ including “Best Character Design – Feature” and “Best Production Design – Feature.”

Get ready to snap your fingers! The Addams Family is back in their first animated comedy about the kookiest family on the block. Funny, outlandish, and completely iconic, THE ADDAMS FAMILY redefines what it means to be a good neighbor.

This was a cute and fun version of the Addams family.   Loved how  it was a throwback to Charles Addams and his original 1938 New Yorker illustration!  It was a great way to introduce the Addams family to a new generation.  It gave you background story on how the characters came to be.   It also let Pugsley and Wednesay shine and get their own story lies,  In prior versions of the Addams Family,  Pugsley was more of a background character, so it was nice to get to know more about him and his own struggles to figure out where and how he fits in with his family.   It also has a great story-line for kids to hear, how you don't have to conform and be cookie cutter to fit in.  It is okay to be different and stand out!

BONUS FEATURES on BLU-RAY™️, DVD & DIGITAL:

  • Deleted and Extended Scenes*
  • Welcome to the Family* – In this combined Making of/Character Profiles, we hear from the filmmakers and stars of The Addams Family about how the film came about, the animation process and insight into the characters.
  • Life of a Scene* – From black & white storyboards and layouts to animation and lighting, follow along with filmmakers as they bring to life a scene from the movie.
  • Charades with Thing* – There’s nothing quite like a game of Charades with your friends. But what happens when the person giving the clues isn’t exactly a person? What if he’s just… a hand? On talent day, stars of the film are invited to play Charades with Thing. Talent goes head-to-head, competing to see who can guess Thing’s clues. Graphics reveal the answers and keep score for each player.
  • Addams Family Throwback
  • “Haunted Heart” Lyric Video – performed by Christina Aguilera
  • “My Family” Lyric Video – performed by Migos, Karol G, Rock Mafia & Snoop Dogg
* Never-before-seen bonus content

In “Frozen 2,” the answer to why Elsa was born with magical powers is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she sets out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In the highly anticipated sequel, she must hope they are enough. From the Academy Award®-winning team—directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, producer Peter Del Vecho and songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez—“Frozen 2” features the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad.

The film will first be made available on Digital in 4K Ultra HD™, HD and SD offerings on Feb 11 with two extra bonus exclusives. Additionally, a Digital bundle, which includes both “Frozen” and “Frozen 2,” will be made available for purchase in 4K Ultra HD™, HD and SD. Confetti-Filled Hearts! #ValentinesDay

This Valentine's day go the candy free route and make some super cute Valentines that are sure to stand out!

To make these adorable confetti filled hearts you will need the following
  • Tracing paper  or wax paper
  • Colored paper
  • Yoobi Glitter Shapers
  • Wood Kabob Skewers
  • Yoobi markes
  • Need and thread
  • Yoobi glue
  • Yoobi scissors

You will need to use a scrap piece of paper to make a heart template and then cut two of the hearts out of the tracing paper!
Using the colored paper cut out any style feather for the arrow.  I made one in each color.   You will also need to cut out two triangles.  I once again did one in each color.

Glue a  skewer on top of a triangle  and then top it with the other triangle.

Use the black Yoobi  marker to write a Valentine  message on one of the paper hearts.
Holed the hearts together and hand-stitch all the way around with the red thread using a simple straight embroidery stitch. Leave a small section un-sewn  so you can fill the heart with the Yoobi Glitter Shapes. It is easier to fill if you roll a scrap piece of paper and make a funnel into the hole.  This will make it easy to fill the heart without a huge mess.   Then all you have to do is finish stitching and tying it off.

Gently push the empty end of the skewer into the heart, it is easiest to slide it in between stitches. Next glue the feathers onto the end.
