Chocolate Hazelnut Stuffed Pancakes

Ingredients
  • Hungry Jack Buttermilk Pancake Mix and water
  • 10 - 14 tbsp Nutella/Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
  • Pam Cooking Spray if you are not using a non-stick fry pan
Frozen Chocolate Hazelnut discs
  1. First up you will need to line a cookie sheet with either parchment paper or wax paper.
  2. Add a spoonful of spread onto the cookie sheet and spread into a disc,
  3. Place tray in freezer until firm (30 minutes to an hour).  Do not remove from freezer until you are ready for them as they get sticky fast!
Pancakes
  1. Make the pancakes according to the Hungry Jack Buttermilk Pancake box.
  2. Spoon out a portion of pancake mixture into pan.
  3. Quickly add frozen chocolate hazelnut disc in the middle of pancake mixture.
  4. Top the disc with a spoonful of pancake mixture
  5. When you the pancake bubbling at the edges it is time to flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
Serve warm and wait for the gooeyness to explode! No need to top with syrup! My son devoured this stack and was asking me to make more!

  1. I wasn't hungry for breakfast until I saw this post. I love chocolate hazelnut spread. I should make this for my kids who would love it.
