Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Crackers #Recipe

Take your favorite after school snack to the next level with these fun treats!  These Chocolate Covered  Peanut  Butter Crackers combine peanut butter, chocolate and buttery round crackers to hit that sweet tooth.

INGREDIENTS
  • Package of Butter Cookies (i.e. Ritz)
  • Jar of Creamy Peanut Butter
  • Melting Chocolate discs or chocolate almond bark
  • Sprinkles (optional) - I used Wilton's large heart sprinkles

DIRECTIONS

  1. Prepare cookie sheet by lining with wax paper.

  2. Spread peanut butter on salted side of cracker with a knife
  3. Top each with another cracker placing salted side to peanut butter.
  4. Place in freezer for 5 minutes.
  5. Melt chocolate in crock-pot, double boiler or microwave(30 second intervals, the stirring and repeating until melted). I use a crock-pot as it keeps the chocolate warm and a consistent temperature.
  6. Dip each in chocolate, making sure both sides are evenly covered
  7. Tap off excess and place on prepared sheet.
  8. You may wish to add sprinkles
  9. Allow to set (refrigerate if needed).
