#Cleveland Cavalier's great family fun! @CavsMoondog #Ohio @Cavs @TheQArena

Last night was a real treat for the family.  We were invited to a blogger night at The Q Arena for the Cleveland Cavalier's Moondog night!    The Q Arena  offers family centric nights for Cavs fans and last night was Moondog night!  I had no idea!   Children ages 14 and under in attendance  received a Moondog jersey to celebrate the beloved mascot. The entire night was dedicated to Moondog.

We started the night off at the Cavs Cafe on the Level 6 Administration Offices floor.  They were treated to slushies and a meet and greet with Moondog.  His crazy hijinks were on display, where he was teasing the kids, doing silly poses and making the kids laugh!

We then walked the concourse, where  my son met a couple of the cheerleaders, watched the Scream Team dance, made posters, etc.   Since this was the kids first time attending a game, we had no idea what to expect.  I was amazed at how kid/family friendly the game and the atmosphere was... but get this, from my understanding it is like this all the time, just not on the family centric nights.   At EVERY Cavs, Lake Erie Monsters and Cleveland Gladiators game they offer free face painting, hair painting and sign making for kids and families.

Before the game started they had a dance off on the large television screens and my little guy was in on the action attempting to "Gangnam Style" it.  He had a blast!   Not only was he on the screen, but I caught my daughter and fellow mom blogger Danielle's girls on the screen.  Then they asked us to tweet #Allforone and my tweet/picture was shared alongside Danielle's photo!   The kids felt like movie stars!
The game itself was action packed!  Although the Cavs were down and did lose the game it still was an enjoyable game.  It is a totally different experience than watching from home.  The time went by so fast, but we also did not have commercial breaks!   When there was a break, the Cavalier Girls and Scream Team were out, Mascots were out, there was even a mini wheel chair basketball game that went on!  I truly understand why Cavs games can be considered the BEST fan experience in the NBA!
