Disney on Ice presents Rockin’ Ever After is coming to the Q January 11-21, 2013!!
Disney On Ice Rockin’ Ever After is the ultimate rock star princess experience! This action-packed new skating spectacular features world-class skaters and hair-raising moments from the hit animated films Brave, Tangled, Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid. The show features classic and new Disney princesses – Merida, Belle, Ariel and Rapunzel – who rock out with show stopping performances. The show also features contemporary “rock star” music to keep the audience rockin’ and rollin’ throughout the entire show. Rockin’ Ever After is the newest Disney On Ice production and has never travelled to Cleveland, Ohio before.
On Friday night, FELD Entertainment treated a group of Ohio bloggers to an extremely amazing opening night performance of Disney On Ice Rockin’ Ever After. We arrived at the Q Arena to be surrounded by a wonderful Disney Experience. When you walk in the doors, you see Disney everywhere from signage, to drink holders and souvenirs. We stopped by the souvenir when we arrived to beat the crowd and my Paige chose a Chip Tea Cup plush and Noah one of the brother bears from Brave. The small plush ran $12 each and was comparable to Disney Store prices! We then headed to a blogger suite where we were greeted by amazing folks from FELD and Disney on Ice. Two cast members were on hand to answer all our questions as well, while the kids were treated to cupcakes, juice boxes and a goodie bag with light up toys that were a HUGE Hit as you can see from below! We were also treated to a meet and greet with Merida! I honestly thought my daughter was going to pass out she was that shocked! Merida was so sweet and took the time to talk to my son about the stuffed brother bear from Brave we had just purchased. She told him she was sure it was her brother Hamish and he was such a scamp!
We watched the show from a suite with 3 other bloggers and their families. Not only was it a great place to watch the show, but a great way to connect with other Ohio bloggers! Rockin’ Ever After features Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy Ariel, Belle, Rapunzel and Merida making her ice debut. The show consists of the four princesses movies condensed and put on ice. It was truly amazing to watch it unfold, the kids sing along to their favorite songs and see the characters they love come to life on the ice. The show had amazing skaters, wonderful costumes (loved the mermaid costumes), great Disney music, effects, moments to make you laugh, smile, etc.
The show was about 2 hours long and not a dull moment. I think I heard laughter erupt through out the entire arena when Rapunzel used her trusty frying pan on Flynn Rider. It was also truly amazing how two ice skaters manned the Maximus as well! I highly recommend this show! It is worth every penny! The kids have not stopped talking about it, nor have I! I posted multiple photos on Facebook while at the show and had friends commenting and asking questions! If you are in the Cleveland OH area the show runs till January 21st!
