  STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE

Strawberry’s favorite ingredients
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 3 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar

Lemon Meringue

Lemon Meringue says baking lemon meringue cookies is a fun alternative to the traditional lemon meringue pie. Sweet, crispy cookies are one of the popular types of desserts kids will love. They can be eaten at breakfast (with Mom’s permission) or after meals or any time of the day. Blueberry Muffin

Blueberry’s favorite treat is the traditional Blueberry Muffin! Blueberry says they are easy to make and healthy too. You can make blueberry muffins in less than an hour so it’s a fun but short way to bake with kids. Blueberry strongly suggests baking your own muffins rather than buying them from the store!


 Blueberry says you will need the following ingredients:
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Cinnamon mixed with sugar for muffin topping


Orange Blossom loves orange juice and says it’s a great way to start your morning. She also loves drinking orange juice throughout the day so she likes to try different ways to make it a fun treat. Orange Blossom’s favourite orange treat, and easy to make, is pouring orange juice over ice in the blender, and blend into a nice cold orange blossom slushy! Add your favourite fruit or frozen yogurt for a yummy dessert!
