LightCatcher curtain review and giveaway

Are you in the market for a curtain that can actually make moms' lives easier by helping babies sleep.

As any new mom knows, sleep is invaluable, especially when you aren’t getting any. According to the National Sleep Foundation, infants need at least 14-15 hours of sleep to function at their best.  Newborns need even more. The trouble is that things like noise, temperature and light can make it pretty tricky to keep your little guy or gal slumbering peacefully.  I have two children myself and can tell you if the kids are not sleeping, mama is not either.   Nap times are the worst, if you don't have good curtains then the light will be filtering in and waking your little one up.

LightCatcher has just launched a new line of room darkening curtains that help create the perfect sleeping environment for your baby or for you.  LightCatcher’s revolutionary beautiful quality fabric helps shield out light, noise and drafts, keeping the room cool, dark and quiet.

Don't have a little one, no problem perfect for adults too!  LightCatcher window treatments do more than other curtains to actually improve the comfort and design of home. They don’t just darken, they give you control. They’re not just wide width, they’re energy conscious. They’re not just beautiful, they help you sleep. No single design choice will transform your home more. You can also use thee curtains to make your own movie room!
I chose the Ivory curtains for my daughter's room.  I previously made the curtains for both my kid's rooms.  With my son's room I made them from a dark fabric, but my daughter's ivory curtains have not done the trick since I made them.   So I was excited to see how these ivory curtains would stand the test.   The curtains are extremely soft, which was shocking.  I am used to the stiff fabric curtains are usually made with.  The hang beautifully in her room and the best part is they really work.  I really liked the large size. It meant that we could hang the curtains more widely over the window to ensure maximum coverage.

My daughter is an  early riser.  At the crack of dawn, she is up and moving around.  Usually creeping into our room to see if we are awake or if she can come snuggle in the bed with us.  These curtains truly darken the room!  They allow her to sleep a little longer with out the morning light filtering in.  The curtains come in a variety of terrific colors and prints, so you should have no problem finding the perfect fit for any room in your house!
