Use that leftover Candy Corn to make Homemade Butterfingers (3 ingredients)

Every year after Halloween there is always an abundance of candy corn on clearance.  This past year I picked up a number of bags to try my hand at making three ingredient butterfingers!   These are relatively easy to make and taste so good.  I actually prefer them to the real butterfingers!    Even if you did not stock up like I did on candy corn, you can still buy it online and at bulk stores!

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • chocolate almond bark or chocolate chips for covering.
Instructions:
  1. Melt candy corn  on the stove top on low heat (constantly store so it doesn't scorch the pan).

  2. Add the peanut butter  and continuously mix together until it becomes thick and difficult to mix.  Will almost look like play dough.

  3. Place mixture on parchment paper lined cookie sheet.   I pressed it into the pan so it was about  1/4 inch think.
  4. I then took a pizza cutter or knife and cut it into the desired shape.  Let it cool and harden.
  5. Melt your chocolate once the mixture is cooled.  I melt mine in a mini crock pot, so it stays hot and is easy to dip. Dip each piece in chocolate, and set it on wax paper to set.
