Make Veggies Fun with Birds Eye #ad #Giveaway #Back2School

Did you know that only 28% of dinners include a vegetable?  Let alone only 2% of kids in this country meet the fruit and vegetable guidelines!

As we head back to school, it is important to be sure that busy schedules don’t get in the way of healthy eating. Birds Eye is working to help families reach the goal of at least one veggie with every meal.   Frozen vegetables are just as nutritious as fresh vegetables!   They are simply vegetables, no artificial colors or flavors.  So why not help increase those percentages and offer your kids Birds Eye and Birds Eye Steamfresh with Disney!

Birds Eye is continuing to get kids of all ages excited to eat their veggies with Steamfresh sides featuring Disney character shaped pasta. This year, they’ve expanded the line to convince the older kids – and even the grown-ups – to eat better, too! The new products include:
  • Yoda shaped pasta & broccoli in white cheese sauce
  • R2D2 shaped pasta & green beans in marinara sauce
  • Spiderman shaped pasta & broccoli in yellow cheese sauce
  • Avengers shaped whole grain pasta & peas in butter sauce
When school starts, so does the hectic running the kids everywhere!  From sports to home, to friends, to church, etc.   Looking for a great afternoon snack that kids can make themselves? Yoda shaped pasta & broccoli in white cheese sauce, is a spin on Mac and Cheese!  They are perfect for kids to cook on their own!   So simple, no knives or stove top needed, just your good old microwave!

They make vegetable fun and encourage kids at a young age to love their veggies.  My daughter LOVED the Yoda shaped pasta & broccoli in white cheese sauce.   We will definitely be buying more!  You can't beat the price, the packages were under $2 each!
Not only do they have two cheesy pastas with broccoli, but also pasta & green beans in marinara sauce and whole grain pasta & peas in butter sauce!      As an adult, I can say I enjoyed this line myself.   You can't beat the great taste, the cost and that the kids love them.  Even my pickiest of eaters loved the ones we have sampled so far!    These are quick and easy to make and do not lack in the taste department!   We will be having these on hand to pair with meals and also for snacks for the kids to eat before sports or after school!
