School is starting soon and that also means the running the kids from school events to sports and more. With all the running from here to there, it is easy to forget about taking something out of the freezer to thaw and cook for dinner. Well the thanks to Maple Leaf Farms, the makers of Sandra's Chicken, I have easy go to meals that taste great and are easy to make. Even the pickiest eater in the house approved of the chicken!

Sandra's Chicken is 100% all natural chicken entrees and available in Kroger stores in Ohio. Sandra's Chicken comes in 10 oz. boxes in these three flavors: Chicken Cordon Bleu, Chicken, Broccoli & Swiss, Chicken Florentine (this variety is currently is not available at Kroger.). The entrees are 100% all natural, made with white meat chicken coated in whole grain breading.

The Chicken Cordon Bleu is breaded chicken breast meat filled with a delicious blend of natural Canadian bacon and cheese.  This was my favorite!  The mixture of Canadian bacon and the creamy cheese was so amazing.  It was hard to believe this was from the freezer case.  It was so moist and creamy.

Sandra's Chicken, Broccoli & Swiss features white chicken breast meat, broccoli and Swiss cheese coated in their crispy whole grain breading.  I have never had chicken this way before and was unsure how the Swiss flavor would factor in. Normally Swiss is a little nutty and an acquired taste, but this pairing of cheese and broccoli was the perfect combo.  It was creamy and thick, just one slice and cheese and broccoli was oozing out!  My daughter is a huge broccoli fan and this did not disappoint!

These are so easy to make and take little over a half and hour to make.  Just pop in the over or toaster oven.  While they are cooking, you have time to prepare a side dish or two!
Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Remove frozen entrée from pouch.
  3. Place entrées on an aluminum baking sheet at least 3 inches apart.
  4. Bake 1–2 entrées for 37 minutes. Bake 3–6 entrées for 38 minutes.
Ovens and cook times may vary. For Food Safety, cook to a minimum internal temperature of 165°F measured by a meat thermometer.
