A perfect girls' night in with #TheLongestRide #InsidersLongestRide @FHEInsiders

What would you do for the love of your life? Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment invites you to grab the bull by the horns in THE LONGEST RIDE, which  is out now on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital!
Based on the bestselling novel by master storyteller Sparks, THE LONGEST RIDE centers on the star-crossed love affair between Luke, a former champion bull rider looking to make a comeback, and Sophia, a college student who is about to embark upon her dream job in New York City’s art world.  As conflicting paths and ideals test their relationship, Sophia and Luke make an unexpected connection with Ira, whose memories of his own decades-long romance with his beloved wife deeply inspire the young couple.  Spanning generations and two intertwining love stories, THE LONGEST RIDE explores the challenges and infinite rewards of enduring love.

If you are a fan of Nicholas Sparks books  and movies, I am sure you have already read this book and was anxiously awaiting the movie release.   The last few Nicholas Spark books were so so  in my opinion and then I read THE LONGEST RIDE and I was swept into two story-lines and instantly felt connected to all the characters. The movie did not disappoint, it had me hooked as fast as the book did!  Just like most  Sparks romances, you  have a young man and woman that come from different worlds but can't help but fall for each other.  While their love story is being unfolded you are introduced to another  couple and experience their love story as well and how their love is interwoven with the younger couple's love story.     I have not been drawn in emotional to a movie in a while.  Even though I read the book, I was on pins and needles watching the movie too!

This movie is a total chick flick and a great one at that!  So of course I had to share this wonderful movie with my gal pals and hosted a movie night for six of my friends!  First up was getting the perfect decorations.  I hit Target and in the Dollar Sport found super cute buckets and a burlap garland. I even picked up super cute red light up stars on clearance for $.50 each.  They were 90% off and left over from the 4th!

Another must have is munchies!  You can not have a party without food.   I had my party after work, so no need for dinner.  Thanks to the great folks at Fox they had me covered with popcorn and Chex Mix.  I also served up mini tacos, mini quiches, pretzels, fruit, veggie tray and cookies.  Water and lemonade were the drinks on hand!
