Plan your @CedarPoint trip & stay at the newly-renovated Hotel Breakers #BloggingatCP #sponsored #ohio

We recently went to Cedar point and stayed the newly-renovated Hotel Breakers. Located along the mile-long Cedar Point Beach, Hotel Breakers is your ultimate resort destination located just steps away from Cedar Point, The Roller Coaster Capital of the World!  It is newly-furnished and remodeled rooms with LCD TV’s, new furniture, bedding and décor, and many other amenities and offerings. Additional enhancements include a new Starbucks and the Surf Lounge bar inside the famous rotunda, widened exterior green space with panoramic views of Lake Erie and an outdoor water play area with zero depth entry and splash features.

The rooms, oh the rooms!  They are amazing!  The colors are so vibrant and I love the decor.  It was so inviting and after a long day at the park, those beds are amazing!  Each guest room features an LCD TV, dorm-sized refrigerator, microwave plus new bedding, décor and furniture.

A great feature in the bathroom is the hooks in the shower!  A great place to let your swim suits dry!  If you are lucky to get the kids in the barrel in the bathroom, it is a must to also get a photo of your kids in the park in the barrel!
Not only does the hotel feature an indoor pool, but and outdoor pool, hot tub as well as a water play area with zero-depth entry.
Food....Lets talk about the food options! The hotel features a full-service Starbucks (the girl working there was so sweet!), Surf Lounge Rotunda Bar, TGI Friday's Restaurant and Bar (where we ate dinner), Perkins Restaurant (had to get a late night muffin to munch on while kids ate ice cream), TOMO Hibachi Grill and the Pool Side Parlor (amazing ice cream, my daughter had the Rougarou!).  If you go hungry, then shame on you!

We ate dinner at TGI Friday's Restaurant and Bar.  Now it is a little more than a regular Fridays, but way cheaper then leaving the hotel, driving into Sandusky to eat and driving back!    Each child ordered a kid meal, while hubby and I each had a burger.  Next time, we will share!  The portions were large and we had leftovers!  Thank goodness for the fridge in the room!

First ride of the day was Rougarou!  Hubby and daughter rode it, while I waited with Mr. 48 inches!
New this year is Rougarou the new floorless roller coaster.  Coaster fans will be pleased at how many coasters, Cedar Point has to offer!  They have aggressive and high thrill coasters!  In addition to the Rugarou they offer:
