Recently, I was given the opportunity to review one of Hallmark’s Keepsake ornaments. I looked through the Dream Book and picked three ornaments that I would love to adorn my tree, then the great folks at Hallmark surprised me with Optimus Prime!
Growing up I had an older brother so he won out on TV shows. So I watched a lot of Transformers growing up. Now with kids, my son and hubby are huge Transformer fans so I was excited to get this ornament! It totally reminds me of the classic toys from my youth!
As a child each year my brother and I were able to pick out a Christmas ornament. Then by the time I moved out, I had a nice collection of ornaments for my own tree each one meaning something special. Now that I have kids, we do the same thing. Each year the kids can pick out an ornament that means something to them and of course we look to Hallmark! When my son was younger, each night we would read Guess How Much I Love You, so last year when we were out shopping he found the "To the Moon and Back" Ornament from Hallmark and chose it as his own. It melted my heart that he still cherished our nightly readings and wanted to remember in the form of an ornament!
A good way to reminisce is to look through the Hallmarks Keepsake Dreambook. You will see ornaments in there that remind you of your childhood favorite sports team, hobby and more! We just put up our tree and I love going through the ornaments and reminiscing and remember my childhood, First Christmas together baby's first Christmas, etc.
