My thoughts
I fell in love with Winter's story when the first film was out.  I actually took the kids to see it on my birthday!  It was a great gift to spend time with the family.   Well when I saw that #2 was coming out again close to my birthday, I thought we could have a repeat, but alas with kids in sports we never made it to the theater.  I was excited to get the chance to review this film and have some quality movie time this past week with them!
All the main characters return to this film to reprise their roles, even Rufus the pelican who loves to steal the scenes!  It is a very moving and inspiring movie, a great film for the entire family.  My kids honestly loved both Dolphin Tale movies and now want to take a trip to see Winter and Hope.

This movie picks up back at the aquarium and the team and Winter has experienced the loss of a beloved Dolphin who served as a friend and surrogate mother.  This leaves Winter as the bottle nosed dolphin in their captivity, which is against regulations, Dolphins must be paired.  If the aquarium can not find a companion, then she will be moved!  Another Dolphin is introduced and as she heals at the aquarium the question is posed, should they keep a healthy dolphin just to keep Winter?  Of course the staff does the right thing and release the dolphin but Winter is still at risk.  Then we meet Hope and will she live up to her name?  Is she the hope the aquarium has been seeking to help keep Winter there?  I am not going to give anymore away, you will just need to tune in when this hits  Blu-Ray Combo pack, DVD and Digital HD December 9th!!

Just a tip...watch after the movie.  Water works will ensue :)
