The Aromatic White is an everyday wine at $14/bottle SRP (often found for less in stores) that’s made from an aromatic blend of white grapes. The explosion of intense fruit and floral aromas in this wine stand up well to the equally intense flavors to appetizers containing ingredients such as blue cheese and sweet apricot. This wine offers a refreshing sip as a counterpoint to the creaminess of the cheese and the soft chew of dried apricots. This is an amazing white wine and great to serve with appetizers while dinner is cooking. I also thought it would be great to serve with dessert. Retails about $14 a bottle.
The pleasant appeal of their 2012 Sauvignon Blanc begins on the nose with fragrant aromas of white peach and bright floral notes. Associate Winemaker John Hazak used lees stirring, which contributed to the smooth viscosity and silky mouth feel. A vibrant streak of citrus continues into a long and satisfying finish.
