A Tisket, A Tasket, PEEPS in a Basket #EasterBasketIdea #Peeps #spon #PeepsPersonality @PEEPSANDCOMPANY

“The flowers were budding, the grass emerged from snow, and winter was finally coming to a close.
All of the kids played outside once more, while thoughts of spring-time chores went right out the door.
Meanwhile, back in Bethlehem, PA, the Easter Bunny was becoming busier by the day.
But today was one of the most important of them all, as the PEEPS® gathered ‘round, some stout and some tall.
They met to discuss their mission this year, a big responsibility which was sure to bring cheer.
The messenger PEEPS® assured they were ready to go, and off they travelled to various homes.
The PEEPS® were ready to watch over kids everywhere and report back whether each child had earned their Easter basket share.
And for all the young boys and girls who do behave, their PEEPS® will ensure their baskets are filled with the marshmallow treats they crave.”

PEEPS® are iconic to the Easter season and are almost as beloved as the Easter Bunny himself.  This year why not use a  fun and creative way to help ensure that your children are on their best behavior as they eagerly await the arrival of the Easter Bunny on April 20th.   In our house we have Mr. Peep, a bright yellow plush Peep who was specially trained to foster family togetherness and help provide a watchful eye for the Easter Bunny as he prepares baskets brimming with marshmallow PEEPS® on Easter morning.

This year Mr. Peep is helping me to share PEEPS® in a Basket, a pilot program.   Seriously as a child there was only two things I looked forward to in my Easter Basket, Peeps and jelly beans!  I mean seriously what child or adult does not love the sugar covered marshmallowy goodness?

This year PEEPS® Easter offerings include:
  • PEEPS® Marshmallow Chicks (in colors: yellow, purple, pink, orange, green and blue)
  • PEEPS® Marshmallow Bunnies (in colors yellow, purple, pink, orange, green and blue)
  • PEEPS® Party Cake Flavored Marshmallow Chicks
  • PEEPS Chocolate Dipped Marshmallow Chicks
  • PEEPS® Chocolate Dipped Mousse Flavored Marshmallow Chicks
  • PEEPS® Chocolate Mousse Flavored Marshmallow Bunnies
  • PEEPS® Large Marshmallow Bunnies
  • PEEPS® Chick in a Hollow Milk Chocolate Egg
  • PEEPS® Chocolate Covered Marshmallow Chicks (Individual Size)
  • PEEPS® Rainbow Pop
  • PEEPS® Sugar-Free Marshmallow Chicks
  • PEEPS® Peepsters® (bite sized chocolate candies filled with sweet marshmallow crème)

Ever since I was little, the lovable iconic PEEPS® were in my basket.  We never had much money growing up, but we always got PEEPS!  Peeps retail from .79 to $4.49. So they are very affordable!  Now they are essential for filling my kids' Easter Baskets.  But did you know they are also  used in baking, centerpiece making, garnishments and more!  I even saw a craft sheet at Walmart featuring PEEPS, they have come a long way!
Why not start a new tradition this year and welcome a new bright PEEPS® plush into your home to help out the Easter Bunny and keep a watchful eye!  Just look at our guy making his rounds and heck even sampling some of the PEEPS himself!  He is constantly on the move and making an appearance in different rooms of the house.  My son loves how soft he is and his chocolate brown eyes!  Since he has brown eyes, he thinks he looks just like him
