Bring on the Laughs with FUNNY OR DIE game + a #giveaway

As I get older, I tend to focus more on family game nights, staying in and having friends over.   We just had friends over for New Years and spent the night playing games! Entertaining expert Julie Edelman, “The Accidental Housewife,” has provide these party-perfect tips to help make your night-in a rousing success:

SERVE FUN FINGER FOODS that are easy to eat with one-hand so you can put on an oversized green foam finger and play the hilarious new POINTING FINGERS game with your family & friends.
PARTY & PLAY AT ONCE! Get the party started instantly with CATCH PHRASE, the pass-it, shout-it, guess-it game you can hold in one hand while keeping your drink/food in the other!!
MAKE NEW FRIENDS. With the new ‘ask a friend’ feature in the TRIVIAL PURSUIT PARTY game, you can ask others to help out with your questions. It’s a great way to break the ice with new friends at the party!
CREATE A MENU OF FUN YUMS. Come up with fun, games-themed names for the food and drinks at the party, like a “Scattergories Sandwich Sampler” or a “Taboo Twist.”
ADD IN SOME HOLIDAY-THEMED RULES. For every round won, a team can share favorite memories from 2013, or for every TABOO buzz, players can share a New Year’s resolution they’ll be making.
SNAP ‘N SHARE THE FUN. Set up some silly hats or homemade trophies for the victors and be sure guests capture photos of themselves celebrating their wins. Share the pictures on social channels or send them around to your guests the day after the party to relive the fun of New Year’s.

There are two new party games from Hasbro, the POINTING FINGERS and FUNNY OR DIE games, that will be sure to keep your  festivities going well past midnight and night of the week.

POINTING FINGERS
The Pointing Fingers game is the hilarious game of who did what. Friends and family will have a laugh-out-loud time as they wear oversized foam fingers and literally point out outrageous things about each other! Who in your group of friends is most likely to sleepwalk? Or eat off the floor? Point out the person who you think is the most likely to do so and earn points for being right! You’ll be amazed at the funny things you’ll learn about your friends and family!

FUNNY OR DIE
Hasbro has joined forces with Funny or Die, the popular comedy video website, to bring you the ultimate in caption craziness with the FUNNY OR DIE game. Try to one-up your friends by matching outrageous photos and captions to create the best laugh-out-loud combo. Everybody votes on which is the funniest and which one must “die.” Players earn money for having the funniest pair and the player with the most cast at the end of the game wins. With hundreds of hilarious pictures and captions, the FUNNY OR DIE game will have players laughing till the very end.

I recently was sent Funny or Die Game to review! This is definitely an adult game, so make sure the littles are not around while playing!  It is preferred for ages 13 and up!  The nice part of the game is it is not one of those that drag on.  You can actually blow throw a game in about 30 minutes.  Basically Funny or Die is a caption game challenges you to come up with the funniest caption for the photo.  Everyone playing will vote on which is funniest!   If yours is voted  you take the pot of money for that round.  Game is over when one player looses all their money.   Count up the money and the person with the most is the winner!!!

Purchase Funny or Die Game on Amazon for $12.79 & FREE Shipping on orders over $35.

  3. I like the snap and share idea, but I would only share them with family, not everyone I know.
