One item I found on the Boxax site was it uses your detergent's power and controls odors to give you fresh, clean laundry. My hubby and I both work out multiple days a week. I am not sure what it is about guys, but their sweat stinks and so does their laundry. I was excited to try it out and see if it could help with hubs stinky workout clothes and I was pleasantly surprised! This is not only a great laundry booster, but now part of my laundry care routines from now on! I also can not wait to try some craft/science projects with the kids using it!
Just look at all the uses listed on the back of the box!
So what is Borax?
- 20 Mule Team® Borax is 100% natural, and 99.5% pure (there is about a half of 1% of naturally occurring trace minerals). Once removed from the ground it is washed, dried, and boxed for consumers.
- Borax is the common name for sodium tetraborate: a naturally occurring substance produced by the repeated evaporation of seasonal lakes.
- Absolutely nothing is added. No phosphates, chlorine, or other additive chemicals
To use Borax as a laundry booster for your laundry, all you have to do is add 1/2 to every load with your regular (Purex) detergent.
Why Use Borax?
- 20 Mule Team® Borax naturally softens hard water, which protects your detergent - so it can miximize cleanin power.
- Helps keep stains from being re-deposited back onto clothes
