Arby’s Grand Turkey Club

Arby’s  launched it's Turkey Roasters last month.  Arby’s asked me to  try the Grand Turkey Club, part of the line of Turkey Roasters. The Grand Turkey Club is made with sliced roast turkey, melted Swiss cheese, pepper bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo on a toasted harvest wheat bun.

The new menu items are just one part of the Arby’s brand re-launch and new campaign. “Slicing Up the Truth About Freshness” celebrates Arby’s rich heritage in freshly slicing meat in their restaurants every day for nearly 50 years and highlights that this fact differentiates them from other sandwich shops that cannot make the same claim.
Specifically, the brand re-launch includes:
  • National television, print and digital advertisements, created by Crispin Porter + Bogusky, featuring former NYC Police Detective Bo Dietl on a mission to expose the truth about fresh slicing.
  • Updated, modernized logo that stays true to the iconic hat, but also communicates Arby’s pride in freshly slicing meat daily in each restaurant.
  • Introduction of new menu items, including Turkey Roasters
  • New tagline – “Slicing Up Freshness.”
  • Complete website refresh at www.Arbys.com
The cutting-edge advertisements were brought to life with the help of director Larry Charles, who is best known for directing films such as Borat, Religulous, Brüno and The Dictator, as well as his writing work for Seinfeld. These new televisions spots mark Charles’ first endeavor into commercials.

We don't east fast food that often, but when we do we chose to eat at Arbys as it is a healthier option that is not like typical greasy burgers.  I admit it, if I eat at Arbys, I normally eat off the Value Menu.  I normally get a Jr. Roast Beef sandwich with value fries. I recently had the opportunity to try the new Grand Turkey Club and as you can see my picture above it is a BIG sandwich!  It was an amazing sandwich!  The bun was a toasted harvest wheat bun that was nice and warm.  Turkey was piled high with a combo of Mayo and Swiss cheese.  Then the crisp lettuce and the strips of pepper bacon topped of the sandwich.  It was a trully great sandwich.  My hubby has of course stopped by a couple times and order it again!  So if you are looking for a sandwich that packs a lot of taste and fills you up, check out the Grand Turkey Club from Arby's!

Disclosure:  I received a gift card in order to purchase the sandwich to review.  No other forms of compensation was received.
