Mikarose Review & $50 GC GivAway! I am in love w/my new dress for #BlogHer12 @Mikarose25

Mikarose is a clothing company that specializes in modest, elegant and fashionable dresses, tops, skirts, and accessories. Their company’s idea evolved when the owners realized how difficult it was to find modest dresses in today’s market. They are sure you have had similar experiences when looking for a modest dress. After many frustrating outings, they formed Mikarose. Their goal is to provide an extensive line of modest dresses, without having to sacrifice style. You will be able to wear our line to a broad range of functions: from everyday events to corporate parties. They hope to not only meet the needs of women looking for modest wear, but all those who are seeking elegant dresses.

When I was looking for clothes to take with my to BlogHer in NY this year, I came across Mikarose.com.  If you know me, I don't wear dresses that often, but  I am trying to expand my wardrobe and be a "dress girl".  I have been working hard at losing weight and getting back to my pre-kids weight.  But since the kids came along, my hips have not shrunk.  So a dress may fit in one area but gap in another.

When I can across Mikarose.com I was in love with the modest, feminine dresses they had to offer!  I narrowed down my choices to four dresses and then left it in their hands to send me a "surprise" dress.  I was so giddy when the package came and ran to the bedroom to see what dress they had chosen for me and I was not disappointed at all!

I was sent  The Emma.  The Emma is an elegant and flirty dress. The neckline is adorned with many beautiful rosettes. The basic short sleeve and the neckline have a lovely chiffon trim, setting this dress apart from the rest. The gathering at the waistband will hide any problem areas, and adds the attractive fullness to the skirt. Topped off with a ruffled hem, the Emma is the recipe for a perfect dress.

The dress accentuates all the right areas. The length of the dress is perfect, no worries about bending over! The fabric hangs perfectly and not clingy at all, I love the way it moves when I walk.  I felt so pretty flaunting  around the house and can not wait to wear it in NYC!  Mikarose truly understands women's bodies and how to make modest, elegant and fashionable dresses.
