Ziploc Review & Giveaway (US)

Easy portioning? Less mess? Freezer burn protection? Yes, yes and yes!
With new Ziploc® Perfect Portions™ Bags, freezing single servings of bulk foods has never been easier. In just three quick steps, bulk food items, such as raw chicken, can be individually wrapped and frozen so that they are ready for a later date. Additionally, the ultra-light bags help to reduce the risk of raw meat making contact with your hands and your kitchen and they provide an extra barrier of protection against freezer burn when used in conjunction with Ziploc® brand Freezer bags. All of which means Ziploc® Perfect Portions™ Bags helps you save time, save money and save yourself from icky messes.

I recently received some of these bags and love them!  They are perfect for not only meat, but just about everything!  Just this week I purchased some dinner rolls on sale.  I was able to put them in the perfect portions bags and then into a freezer bag.  No more of them sticking together and having to chisel apart the ones I want

I not only use Ziploc bags to keep my foods fresh, but they aid in the help of preparing foods too!  Just this weekend, I took some asparagus, olive oil, garlic and placed them into a Ziploc bag.   I tossed the bag a few times and let the asparagus marinate in the bag while the grill was getting hot!

Next up for dinner, I first removed the extra pork chops that I would not be using and placed them into the perfect portions bags and then a freezer bag!  For the remaining pork chops I placed them into another Ziploc bag with some rub seasoning, tossed and got the meat fully coated and added to the grill!

See what a yummy meal you can make with little mess and clean up by using Ziploc bags!
