I was fortunate to host an Easter themed Jake and the Neverland Pirates Easter themed event at my house.   We were sent an Easter  egg coloring kit, the DVD and a couple of plush characters.  The kids were excited to color eggs and get in on the Jake action!  I even got in on the Easter egg coloring and designed a Jake Easter Egg.

My Jake design on an Egg!

My kids watch Jake and the Never Land Pirates on Disney all the time.  So they were super excited to see the Peter Pan episode!  Not only does this DVD feature "Peter Pan Returns", but it also has five additional episodes for a running time of 169 minutes.  So you get a whole lot of Jake time!  For those of you unfamiliar with ”Jake and the Never Land Pirates”, the show follows the adventures of three pirates, Jake, Izzy and Cubby as they work to outwit Captain Hook and Mr. Smee.  The series is great for children as it focuses on teamwork, problem solving and friendship!  "Peter Pan Returns" focuses on how Peter Pan while playing the game Catch-me-if-you-can, he looses his shadow and Captain hook takes it. He goes to ask his friend Jake's help. His friends Izzy, Cubby and parrot Skully join to work as a team to find Peter's shadow. Peter needed his shadow to fly so he had to get it back from captain hook.
