#FarmRichSnacks “Tips to Spice Up Your Parties”

Parties are always a fun time to get together with friends and family and enjoy some tasty bites. Whether your celebration is in honor of a birthday, sporting event, holiday or theme party you want to host a memorable event for your guests. How do you spice up your parties and create an event that no one will forget? Farm Rich is bringing some heat to your parties with its popular line-up of frozen snacks and appetizers with the new Queso Cheese Bites – delicious, bite-sized snacks filled with creamy white queso cheese. Now you can enjoy bite-sized snacks at home with a slight ‘kick’ when you can’t get to your favorite Mexican restaurant.

In honor of the delicious new Farm Rich Queso Cheese Bites, Social Moms has teamed up with Farm Rich for a few of us bloggers to share our tips to spice up parties! Farm Rich wants to help you spice up your parties and create fun, lasting memories. Farm Rich Queso Cheese Bites are not too hot, not too cool, but just right. These little guys are creamy white, queso-filled, breaded, bite-sized happiness, packin’ just the right amount of heat to perfectly spice up any occasion. They come out of the oven or fryer in just minutes, crisp and toasty on the outside, meltingly tender on the inside, and ready to serve for an after-school snack, party appetizer, or just anytime hunger calls. The wholesome snacks also are a good source of calcium, and each portion contains just 180 calories and 0 grams trans fat per serving.

When we throw parties at my house, I can not wait to start planning! Below are some tips to planning the perfect party!
  • Rule #1--plan early!
  • Decide what kind of party you want to throw and how big of an event it's going to be.  I love using online pinboard sites to collect my ideas and pin them away!   I recently started a Cinco De Mayo board to collect fun party planning activities for a carry-in party I am attending!
  • Plan out the guest list and send out the invites early.  I prefer to use the free online evite service that will also send out reminders and keep a runny tally of who RSVP'ed!
  • Plan the party and menu and start making your shopping list. I try and purchase paper products ahead of time when they are on sale in generic colors or even white, so I always have them on hand.  It is also cheaper to head to Gordon Food Supply (GFS) or possibly SAMs to pick up last minute paper products!   I unfortunately got sucked into purchasing Thor paper products at one time at a party supply store and it was expensive.
  • Watch the sale ads and pick up what you can on sale ahead of time! Leave  perishable items for you final shopping trip.
The above tips are just basic tips, but it truly all depends on the party.   If it is a football themed party, of course I will decorate in a football theme.  Over the years I have picked up a number of items on clearance to use year after year!   Only when parties are kid orientated it seems that I have to go out and pick up specialty items. Last year we did a Phineas and Ferb party at our house.  A super inexpensive way to decorate  was hitting up the Target Dollar Spot and I score a handful of items for the party without breaking the bank.  I then created Perry the Platypus cookies  to go along with the theme!  A must at any of my parties is to have Farm Rich products!   From meatballs, to cheese sticks to the absolutely delicious Queso Cheese Bites, they are sure to please anyone at a party. With Cinco De Mayo coming up a party themed with a taco bar, make your own margaritas and Farm Rich Queso Cheese Bites would surely please any adult!

I have blogged about a few of my themed parties!  You can go here and check out my Smurftastic Party
Phineas and Ferb Party, Hop Viewing Party and Bridesmaids parties! Hosting a great get together does not have to break the bank as you can see from my posts!   Good food, friends and fun is all you need to host a great party!  We do personally throw one big party a year at my house and it is costly, but tons of fun!  We will save that adult party info for another day.  LOL
