KIDZ BOP, the #1 music brand for kids ages 5-12 in the U.S., and SiriusXM have teamed up to launch KIDZ BOP Block Party!, where kids rule the radio! The two-hour weekly show premieres on Kids Place Live, channel 78, on Friday, January 13 at 6:00PM ET. To celebrate the show’s launch, kids everywhere are invited to enter the “KIDZ BOP Block Party! Super Contest” for their chance to win a trip to New York City to be a guest DJ on the show by uploading a video now through January 30 to KIDZBOP.com, the leading safe social network for kids and tweens. KIDZ BOP Block Party! debuts just in time for the highly-anticipated release of KIDZ BOP 21 next week.

The “by kids for kids” interactive format lets kids across North America help determine weekly playlists and segments, chat with celebrities and get a chance to have their voices heard—all by participating online at KIDZBOP.com. Each week, KIDZ BOP Block Party! will kick off the show with the “KIDZ BOP High 5,” its weekly Top 5 countdown segment. Kids can vote for the songs they want to hear at KIDZBOP.com. The show will also feature an “Artists 2 Know” segment, which will showcase a different musician, actor or performer during a special Q&A session. The first episode of KIDZ BOP Block Party! will feature an interview with pop sensations, Hot Chelle Rae.
