I am a huge fan of Rizzoli and Isles! It stars Angie Harmon as Jane Rizzoli and Sasha Alexander as Maura Isles. Rizzoli is a tough-as-nails Boston police detective while Isles is a smart, impeccably dressed medical examiner from a privileged background. They share an offbeat chemistry and strong working relationship that has helped them bust some of Boston's most notorious criminals.
In last week's episode we learned more about Rizzoli's relationship with her ex-con brother when he was accused of a robbery and murder that he did not commit. Tommy's and Maura relationship also begins to grow. Each week we are getting a more in depth look at characters, their pasts and how they help to solve the crimes. Another angle from last week was the appearance of FBI Agent Anna Farrell, who was previosly engaged to Detective Frost.
In tonight's episode, Jane attends her high school reunion and brings Maura along for the ride, but the fun is cut short when one of her old classmates turns up dead on the football field. Jane must focus on the past when she realizes that everyone in her class is a potential suspect. Meanwhile, Korsak gets a visit from ex-wife Melody Patterson (recurring guest star LOLITA DAVIDOVICH), who hopes he'll invest in her new business. Plus, recurring guest star CHRIS VANCE returns as Sgt. Major Charles 'Casey' Jones, an old flame of Jane's, and recurring guest star MATTHEW DEL NEGRO appears as Angela's car mechanic, Giovanni, who has eyes for Maura.
I am hoping in this episode we get a chance to see how Jane was in high school. I am sure Maura will wow her classmates and try and make past wrongs right with Jane tonight. In last week's episode Maura withheld telling Jane that Tommy was a suspect, which in turn made Jane irate. I am hoping that they patch things up and all is well between the two as they take a trip back to high school,
