This season the Big Bang gang’s romantic universe expands. On the rebound from Penny, Leonard falls into the arms of Raj’s sister Priya. Sheldon gets a girlfriend, or rather a friend who is a girl: Amy, a dour neurobiologist who declares herself besties with Penny. Howard and Bernadette heat up. And so do Raj and Bernadette (at least in Raj’s Bollywood daydream). All in the furtherance of award-winning genius comedy.
A lot of people go after hip and popular, but these days geek is chic. Did you ever date someone who was/is a bit socially awkward. Do you think people with "beautiful minds" are underrated in the dating scene? Honestly, I don't think I really ever dated someone that was socially awkward. In high school, I was a "nerd" and did not date that often. Once I started college, I ditched the thick glasses, got a new wardrobe and starting meeting new people. The geek was still inside me though! I do think people overlook those with "beautiful minds" quiet often and prefer looks over intelligence in the beginning, but once you get to know the person...the mind usually overtakes the looks.
I love the the characters on 'The Big Bang Theory' and how they interact with each other. We have all been there and no one wants to admit it, but we all have been in an awkward situation at one time or another. The characters week by week offer up comedy, awkwardness and pure genius. My hubby is a comic character loving guy and loves this show as much as I do.
I really do think these guys need help with their "game" in the show, as Sheldon now has a girl "friend", Leonard doesn't seem to be hurting for relationships either. I think Raj just needs some more confidence in himself and see how he would be a great catch for any girl!
