Mother Goose club review

Did you know that early childhood research has shown that familiarity with nursery rhymes helps young children learn to read? This is the premise behind the Mother Goose Club.

Featured on PBS stations, the Mother Goose Club is a series of 1-minute educational programs for preschools promoting early literacy. This live-action and colorful program, invites your little one to sing and dance along to their favorite nursery rhymes.

My kids love nursery rhymes!  I thought I knew most of them, but I was wrong!    But with preschool and all the wonderful products out for children anymore, they will know every single one!

Recently I received the Nursery Rhyme Singing Time with Mother Goose Club DVD, Volume 1 and 2 of Mother Goose Club Sings Nursery Rhymes, and the Mother Goose Club Coloring Book!

Characters include: Teddy Bear, Jack B. Nimble, Little Bo Peep, Baa Baa Sheep, Mary Quite Contrary and Eep Mouse.  They come to life making the show truly enjoyable. Our children are entertained in the car by looking at books or listening to fun music CDs.  The  Mother Goose CDs are a happy addition to our car!  If the trip is really, really long,  each child has a portable DVD player and  we play something they love.  Now we must bring the Mother Goose DVD in the car, as it is not only fun to watch, but musical!
