Wisharoo Park is sure to be a hit with kids and parents alike. Wisharoo Park is a show for preschoolers that originally aired on PBS. Now all 13 episodes are available in a two disc DVD set, as well as being the basis for an interactive website (www.wisharoopark.com). The Wisharoo park franchise focuses on promoting positive self-image and self-esteem in preschool age children.
We received a Wisharoo Park 2-DVD set along with several fun Wish Star finger puppets. The kids immediately went for the finger puppets and started divvying them up between each other! My daughter then emerged from her room with puppets on her fingers! It was too cute! The show features a combination of puppet and human characters. Which is great. I love the interaction between the two, for me it helps when the kids see people and characters in costume together. This way they have a better understanding of who is who, etc. Besides the episodes featured on the DVD, new Wisharoo content, activities, and games are added every week to the interactive Wisharoo Park website. The website includes printable crafts and activity sheets, interactive puzzles and games, videos, and more.
