Right before the holiday I had the opportunity to host a review and giveaway for a wonderful book called My Name is Not Isabella!  Well now there is another great book by that fabulous author: My Name Is Not Alexander.
My Name Is Not Alexander
Sourcebooks Jabberwocky; ISBN: 978-1-4022-5433-8; Picture Book; $16.99

About the Author
Jennifer Fosberry is a science geek turned children’s book writer. She was born and raised in the Adirondacks. Jennifer has a bachelor’s degree in Physics from SUNY Geneseo and a master’s degree from SUNY Binghamton. Until recently, she worked as a project manager in Silicon Valley in the high-tech electronics field. She currently divides her time between the San Francisco Bay Area and Costa Rica with her husband and three children.

Jennifer Fosberry’s new book follows a young boy on an imaginary trip through history as he pretends to be some of the innovative men who influenced and shaped our world.

Just how big can a little kid dream? Ask Alexander, as he takes a wild ride and discovers the sky’s the limit!

I recently was sent a copy of "My Name Is Not Alexander " to review. Throughout his day, the title character Alexander imagines himself taking on the adventures of several famous men who made their mark on history. This book empowers children to realize their true capabilities, while still letting their own personality radiate.

It is a wonderful example of role models. A back of the book “Men Who Changed the World” section features short bios of the famous men Alexander pretends to be.. I enjoyed reading the bios myself! I loved whowas listed as last powerful man. I won't say who it is... you will need to pick this book up for Easter to see who it is!
