At Christmas time I the It's Thoughtful promotion and scored a $25 GC. Here is the link to the current promotion where you can earn anywhere from $20-$400 in Amazon CGs! I also use Swagbucks for my everyday searching. You can redeem (5) $5 Amazon GCs each month. Well I have been collecting SB and not using them. So Last year I kept redeeming $5 GCs and banking them! Lastly I recently did the Living Social (no longer available) $20 CG for $10 (but I got my deal for free when 3 of my friends bought under me).
So when you see things like the Its Thoughtful promo mentioned above and think it can't be for real, it is. My hubby is super excited, he has been wanting a Kinect since they came out. All I paid was $9.09! So yes you can score high ticket items for free or close to free!
