Here is how it works:
1) Haul your bucket of change to your Coinstar Center.
2) Convert $40 or more onto an iTunes eCertificate at your local Coinstar Center
3) Your $40 iTunes card purchase is instant, via a code on the printed voucher, when you chose the iTunes gift card as payment. That code is then entered into your online iTunes account.
4) After completing your transaction, you will receive an eCertificate with a unique code at the bottom of your voucher with a promotional code. Keep that safe.
5) Enter the promotional code at www.coinstar.com/itunes
6) Receive your bonus card by mail in 2 weeks.
