Weekend getaways are great. It helps break up the normal work week and it is so much cheaper than a regular vacation. My husband and I try to do a weekend getaway every couple of months. One of our favorite trips is just a quick drive to Pittsburgh. We will go there and stay at a hotel with friends, see the sites, indulge on great food and of course hit my favorite store IKEA!
If I were to win, I am not sure where I would go... Probably somewhere that all the family can get to fairly easily and somewhere fun (there has to be fun things for the kids to do as well!!!). Maybe a weekend in NYC, that would be great!
