Lack of posts ~ family stuff

9 years ago we adopted Trixie from the pound.  She was ditched at an Amish man's house with her puppies.   No one wanted her, till we came along.    She was approx. 2-3 when we got her.  She has never been sick.  A week before we were to go on vacation she started having accidents.  We took her to the vet and was given UTI meds.  House sitter took care of her while we were gone and kept up on meds.   Went back for f/u yesterday.   She was still having issues peeing and looked like she lost weight while we were gone.  Yesterday they did labs, u/s and a x-ray.  Today she had exploratory surgery, we were hoping it was just kidney or bladder stones, but found out it was a tumor on her uthera tube.  The tumor has been sent for testing...  Hoping for the best in this bad situation
