Future Friendly Challenge

Help us prove that little changes can make a big impact by signing up for the Future Friendly Challenge. Choose one of four simple behaviors that help reduce energy, water or waste in your home and commit to this action for the next 90 days. Then come back and tell us what kind of savings you are seeing and together we will create a household conservation tool that is simple and flexible enough to fit your everyday lifestyle. Because if "green" is user friendly, we can all be Future Friendly.

How does it work?

  1. Once you have signed up with the Future Friendly Challenge here, you will gain greater access to strategies for protecting the environment including:

    • Save Water

    • Save Energy

    • Reduce Waste

  2. For every Challenge sign-up, Future Friendly will donate a liter of water to Children's Safe Drinking Water. Get a friend to sign up and take the Challenge with you and we'll double that. In addition, every Future Friendly Challenge pledge will be counted in the global movement Billion Acts of Green, a core component of the Earth Day 40th Anniversary program.

  3. We'll send you tips, educational resources from organizations like National Geographic, coupons and special offers to help you along the way.

  4. Share your experiences on The Future Friendly Challenge Facebook page. Are you noticing a measurable reduction in energy, water or waste? Are you saving on your utility bill? What is helping or hindering your success?

  5. We'll rollout more details and tools this summer to collaborate on a measurement tool to help you track conversation within your household, and we are excited to hear your ideas and get your feedback.
