Swedish Thumbprint cookies #Recipe

Looking for a fun and easy recipe that you can do with the kids?  Why not try Swedish Thumbprint Cookies!

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup any flavor fruit jam


Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. 
  3. Slowly add in the sifted flour, and mix well. 
  4. Shape dough into 1 inch diameter balls and place on parchment or silicone lined cookie sheets. 
  5. Imprint your thumb in the center to make a 1/2 inch indentation.
  6.  Fill with your favorite preserves.
  7. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown at the edges.
