Spring breakers are getting murdered in Neptune, thereby decimating the seaside town's lifeblood tourist industry. After Mars Investigations is hired by the parents of one of the victims to find their son's killer, Veronica (Kristen Bell) is drawn into an epic eight-episode mystery that pits the enclave's wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast's answer to Daytona Beach.

This is movie is more than just a cute movie for the kids.  It has such a powerful message that even as adults that we need to hear our self!  It is okay to be different, it is okay to be unique and shine in your own way.  We all have flaws and no one is perfect!  I am in awe of this movie and its message, such a great movie!  I went into it not knowing what to expect and loved it.  Afterwards, my husband who was on the fences, was like "wow, that was a good movie".   The all star cast and the songs make this movie!

Moxy the main character has dreamed that today will be the day and she will get a child of her own!.  She embraces her differences and shows the dolls at the institute of perfection that there is no such thing as perfect!  Even though I have a teen and a preteen, this movie was a great segway on how Middle school can be rough, it is okay to be different.   These are the worst years of school for some and kids pick on the differences, instead embrace your differences and those of the ones around you!

I was recently sent an "UglyDolls Find a Home" mailer. UglyDolls ultimately want to be loved and find their very own home. My kids and I each officially adopted an UglyDoll and all their uniqueness! I mean seriously what is not to love about these guys and girls, they are so cute!

 

A fun recipe for movie night:

Donuts are a yummy treat, but when you buy them at the store they are covered with thick frostings, sugar and usually deep fried.   To help  cut the sugar content and the deep fried aspect, I opted to make baked cake donuts that use flavored waters to help sweeten the donut and give it a light yummy flavor!  Each donut is different and unique, just like the Ugly Dolls!

Yield: 2 dozen large donuts or 4 dozen mini donuts

  

Ingredients

• 1 box  yellow cake mix (I used a store brand that was 18.2oz)
• 1 egg
• ¼ cup vegetable oil
• 1 cup Aquaball flavored water of your choice (I used Berry Frost) or your favorite brand of flavored water

Glaze:

• 1 Tbsp. butter, melted
• 1½ cups powdered sugar
• 3 Tbsp. milk
• sprinkles (optional) 

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 
2. Spray donut pan with non-stick cooking spray.
3. In your mixer, mix together the cake mix, egg, vegetable oil, and Aquaball water until completely mixed
     
   
4. Pour batter into a zipper plastic bag and cut off small section of one corner. If you are making with kids it is easier for them to handle a lunch size bag, if not use a gallon bag. 
5. Squeeze donut mixture into sprayed donut pan, filling each opening about a  ½ full.
    
   
6. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-15 minutes. Let donuts cool in pan  and  then remove place on a on wire rack (under  each rack place wax paper).

For the Glaze:

1. In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the melted butter, powdered sugar, and milk until  there are no more lumps
    
   
2. Dip the the donuts about ½ way into the glaze.
    
   
3. Place back on wire cooling rack.
4. Top with fun sprinkles if you desire! 
5. Let them sit on wire rack until glaze set

When others gave up on her son, this mom never gave up!  She dug in deep for the long haul and stayed positive even when it seemed all hope was lost.   It is a great Christian film, she openly prayed, repented, asked for God's help and stayed faithful.  Then a miracle happened! It is such a powerful movie, based on a true story.

Nine cities and 3,000 giveaways to thank fans who’ve invested 11 years in the MCU!

In celebration of the in-home release of “Avengers: Endgame,” Marvel Studios and directors Anthony and Joe Russo have teamed up to launch the “We Love You 3000” Tour as a way to thank the fans who have invested so deeply in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), making it the single most successful franchise in film history.

Special guests from Marvel Studios and the MCU will visit nine U.S. cities — beginning in San Diego at Comic-Con International on July 20 and ending in Anaheim at D23 Expo 2019 the weekend of Aug. 23-25— greeting and treating fans at each tour stop.  A total of 3,000 MCU Funko Pop Vinyl Figures will be distributed to fans throughout the tour as well as additional giveaways ranging from exclusive “Avengers: Endgame” prints to McDonald’s vouchers for a free Happy Meal® plus an Avengers: Endgame Happy Meal toy to a MCU inspired sundaes and recipe cards courtesy of Ben & Jerry’s.

Best Buy will serve as the location for five “We Love You 3000” Tour stops, hosting in-store fan events to celebrate the nationwide release of Marvel Studios “Avengers: Endgame” on Blu-ray™ Aug. 13.
