A new online bookstore, http://BookstoreThatGives.org, offers a discount and makes a substantial donation to fund classroom supplies for your child’s classroom or the teacher of your choice.
On trade books (that is, most books), you receive a 10% discount and a 20% donation. The donations for other categories are clearly shown on the site.
BookstoreThatGives.org is working with ClassWish.org, which makes it easy for teachers to get the support they need:
- Teachers create Wish Lists, as easily as shopping online
- Visitors see exactly what’s needed and donate to help (or use funds they earned from shopping at BookstoreThatGives.org)
- ClassWish.org sends materials right to the school at no cost
In this era of devastating budget cuts, it’s especially rewarding to help children whenever you buy a book, music or video!
