Boss Baby swears by a diet of secret formula and closer cookies! In honor of the upcoming release of the Boss Baby movie, here are a couple of cookie recipes that are unique and the perfect "Closer Cookie".   If you have not had Biscoff spread or a jar of cookie butter you are missing out.  Now only is this an amazing spread, but great in cookies too!  

Ingredients:

• 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
• 3/4 cup creamy Biscoff or Cookie Butter spread
• 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar (I used light brown sugar)
• 1 large egg, at room temperature
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheets with silicone liners or parchment paper.
2. Mix together the dry ingredients in a medium bowl. 
3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, Biscoff and brown sugar. Add the egg and vanilla. 
4. Slowly add the flour until smooth. 
5. Roll the dough into walnut sized balls and roll in a bowl of sugar. Lightly press balls. 
6. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool the cookies on a wax paper.

These cookies are super soft, chewy and absolutely delicious!

Since it is summer time that mean it is fruit time! This is the perfect time to mix cookies and fruit together with fruit pizza cookies!

Cookie Base

1 package of Betty Crocker Cookie mix and make according to package

Frosting

1 brick Cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp of Vanilla

Fruit (increase/decrease fruit based on preference)

Kiwi (1-2)  - Cut into slices and then in half
Strawberries (1 lb container) -  cut into thin slices
Blueberries  (1 pint container)  - just rinse and pat dry
Mandarin oranges (10 oz can drained and pat dry)

Instructions

•  Line cookie sheets with silicone liners.  Pre-heat oven to temperature on package.
• Bake cookies for 7-9 minutes.   Don't over cook.  
• Cool 10 minutes or until completely cooled.
• In a bowl mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla
• Spread each cooled cookies with cream cheese mixture. Arrange fruit on top of each. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate up to 2 hours
