This is such and emotional and amazing movie!  It is based on real life events.  Kevin Costner plays the grandfather of a sweet little girl Eloise, who is faced to raise alone  after his wife killed in an accident.  He has raised this sweet child and  loved her all of her life, but shortly after  the death of his wife he is challenged for custody from her paternal grandmother, Rowena Jeffers; played by Octavia Spencer.   Kevin's character doesn't believe in black or white, he just loves his granddaughter for who she is.

A legal battle ensues and  Eloise is stuck in the middle.  You feel for both sides of the family, they each have valid points and they both love her.  They all want what is best for her.  Both families have to learn to overcome their differences for the sake of the Eloise.  The movie is great, it totally pulls at your heart strings!
