Recipe Ideas:

Bagel Thins® Recipes

Bagel Thin Pizza
  • Thomas'® Bagel Thins® Bagels
  • Marina/Pizza sauce
  • Mini pepperoni
  • Mozzarella shredded cheese
These are super easy and kids LOVE them.  Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.  Just lay out the bagel thins on a cookie sheet, spoon on your marina/pizza sauce, sprinkle on your cheese and top with pepperoni or whatever are your favorite toppings.  It does not take long to heat up, less than 10 minutes and the cheese was bubbly and the pizzas were warm!  These would also make the perfect after school snack, then the kids reaching for items in the freezer!
Strawberry and Goat Cheese Sandwich
  • Sandwich Thins, Pocket Thins or Bagel Thins
  • Goat Cheese (softened) or plain white cream cheese
  • Strawberry Jam
  • Strawberries
Split the thin and spread each half with softened goat cheese or plain whipped cream cheese.  Top with a thin layer of jam, followed by a layer of strawberry slices.  Top with remaining half of muffin.

Grilled Chicken and Veggies Pocket Thin

  • 2 boneless/skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 bottle of Italian Dressing
  • 1 pack of Whole Wheat or Healthy Multi-grain Pocket This
  • Veggies of your choice!  I used cherry tomatoes, zucchini, mushrooms, onions and banana peppers
Place chicken in a container and cover with Italian dressing.  Let soak for a minimum of 2 hours, but I usually place it in the morning prior to work and then the chicken will be nice and juicy! I slice the zucchini and onions only, I leave the rest of the veggies whole. Place veggies in a bowl or baggie and cover with dressing as well.   If you have kids, then you may wish to place onions and veggies separate.

Heat up the George Foreman Removable-Plate Grill(we use this in the winter to not freeze outside) or your propane grill and get your grilling on.   Veggies cook the fastest, so it really up to you if you do them first or last.  Just have a way to keep them warm.  I will place them in a pan in a heated oven. Think it is hard to grill the veggies, nope!  The floating hinge makes it easy to adjust and cook what you need!  So no smashed veggies.

Grill chicken until cooked all the way thru.  You will be cutting them into chunks/slices so no worries about the chicken looking pretty!

Chicken is placed into pita first and the smothered with the veggies on top.  We then eat the other veggies on the side.
