Cradle Rock Review

Have you heard of “Cradle Rock” (http://www.cradlerockstore.com)?   It is a series of lullaby CDs that feature  Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” greatest hits from Johnny Cash and Kenny Chesney. Soothing sounds from instruments such as the vibraphone, glockenspiel and mellotron are used to create lullabies based on famous, iconic artists and albums in the country, “The ‘Cradle Rock’ lullabies are unlike any other in the marketplace today.

Additional Cradle Rock albums in development include U2’s “The Joshua Sleep Tree,” Black Eyed Peas’ “Sleep-pea Hits” as well as lullaby albums inspired by Nickelback, Carrie Underwood and The Eagles to name a few.

I recently received all three Cradle Rock CDs for my kids to review.   They LOVE them.  My son loves the artwork on the covers.  He calls them his monkey music.  While I am not sure what the animal is supposed to be a mouse or a monkey, regardless he loves them.  I love that my children get to enjoy the same music their parents listen too, but is a softer, gentler format.  If you are looking for some lullabies for your little ones to "Rock" out to, I highly suggest Cradle Rock.   I am very much looking forward to their new CDs that will be released soon!
